She makes some good points, but we would add a note of prudence. Do make sure you have accurate facts before responding or be prepared to say you don't know, but will find out. Always 'Close the Circle' and don't leave commitments unanswered.
 
Most folks are reasonable, but also remember that it's not always a case of right and wrong, sometimes opinions have to differ and you'll have to accept that you can't influence everything the way you would like.
