Business Continuity In the Public Sector

A Continuity Forum & London Boroughs Event

23rd January 2007 – The Council Chamber, Croydon

Following various successful Events held by the Continuity Forum, our London Authority Members have requested that we introduce a special Programme of Development Events designed to help build personal and organisational skills.

This Human Aspects of Business Continuity session has been designed around current and evolving good practice and is available to the London Local Authorities. Those who have already attended similar events run by Continuity Forum have acknowledged the value of the information delivered and have achieved a clear understanding of how to implement the BCM process in their organisations.

This Event will be held in a round table format, allowing and encouraging each of the delegates to build their knowledge and skills in a logical format. The event will be facilitated by the Continuity Forum, and will use ‘real life’ examples to encourage a free and open exchange of views. The aim of the event is to establish a clear understanding of key elements of The Human Aspects of BCM in order to enable further development of skills and knowledge relevant to this particular group of delegates, which can be connected with the real life challenge in your organisation.

The Continuity Forum BCM In the Public Sector – The Human Aspect is run as a half-day event, kindly hosted by The London Borough of Croydon.

The event will, as usual, be run under the Chatham House Rule, encouraging delegates to share their experience and knowledge in an open forum.

This half-day session will discuss topics such as Managing your People and Crisis Communications.

As always, the Continuity Forum aims to remove the hype and focus on the FACTS, and to this end we are delighted to be working with high quality speakers from leading organisations and individuals in this space. The event is aimed at offering businesses, practitioners and vendors alike unbiased and straightforward advice on the issues you face today.
