Today’s businesses need to work harder than ever before to remain competitive and sustain performance in a constantly evolving, global environment. But a range of external threats such as natural disasters, terrorism and IT failures present business leaders with an even greater challenge. In the face of potential disruption from such unpredictable sources, can they plan future growth in any meaningful way? How can these threats be managed? What are the implications of these dangers for the UK economy and is it possible to predict potential threats of the future? How can businesses move ahead of the market with such complex issues to manage?
At this year’s event four prominent experts will draw on their experiences to answer your questions about business under attack in a Question Time style debate, chaired by Liam Halligan of The Sunday Telegraph. Questions will be taken from the floor and are welcome in advance. You are invited to submit them by emailing questions@managers.org.uk.
This year is the seventh Annual Lecture held in partnership with the RSA. As part of the RSA’s “Developing a capable population” theme, it deals with topical issues and together we aim to stimulate a lively debate on management best practice. Places are strictly limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis, but please be aware that your invitation is personal and not transferable.
