Continuity Forum announces Event Alert

The Continuity Forum is looking to identify and analyse as many Continuity events as possible. To help us in this work there is a link on this page that will take you to our event tracker tool, which we have created to develop help information on the frequency and impact of a wide variety of Continuity related events.

From your responses we will be producing regular research bulletins that will assist ALL involved in the profession understand the key risks that are affecting organisations and help in building the 'Business Case' for Business Continuity and Risk Management programmes.

Please note this Event Notification System is completely confidential and NO details on either you or your organisation will ever be shared with any third party. We would also welcome your input on the Data captured by the Event Alert system as we want to ensure that we are producing the most valuable information possible for you, specifically, and the profession generally. The Continuity Forum undertakes research on an on-going basis geared to support and understand the rapidly developing issues affecting our sector. Our research is ALWAYS undertaken on a completely confidential basis and while the results will be shared with our members and added to the knowledge base we are developing for the profession generally, no detail identifying any respondent or organisation will ever be shared with any third party.

We hope that you will be able to spend a few minutes contributing to our research by visiting to tell us of events affecting your organisation or region.

Please do try to answer as many of the questions as you can and please note that you'll be able to update answers as the event unfolds, so please do revisit any questions you have not been able to answer.



This system does not collect any information on either you or your organisation and we are only interested in the event and its consequences. Your confidentiality, as always with the Continuity Forum, is assured.

We (and the Business Continuity profession) need this VITAL information to continue to build the business case and ROI data for BCM and Risk Management programme development in organisations of all types and through the information you provide on events we'll be able to provide even more accurate data, across more sectors, on the frequency of Disruption Events and their consequences to you and your organisation. Our analysts, reviewing the completed data, will have no information that could identify you.

Summary results will also be available from the Continuity Forum Website shortly and regularly updated.

We are aiming for a very large sample size for this research and every questionnaire completed adds to the accuracy of the final findings.
