BCM Good Practice Guide 2010 from the BCI
Good Practice Guidelines 2010
Every few years the BCI updates it’s good practice guide and the 2010 version provides some of the best material available for both beginners and experienced practitioners available. We at the Continuity Forum absolutely love this years edition.
Within its pages there is a wealth of advice and guidance that is laid out extremely well and provides not just technical detail, but also extremely sensible insight into differing options that can be applied through the BCM process.
An added advantage is that by following a consistent methodology that transfers extremely well to the standards world those following its recommendations will be modelling their planning on the framework of British Standard 25999.
The project team led by the Editor in Chief Lyndon Bird are to be thoroughly congratulated and we are sure this excellent piece of work will be used to develop and refine many organisations capabilities in the years to come.
