Continuity Forum chooses Fuzebox for new Web Meeting services
We have been looking for a way to improve the way we connect with our members, partners and the wider community interested in Business Continuity, Security and Resilience.
For quite a while organisations have been using a variety of web conference tools and whilst they have served a purpose, they have very often been a little tricky or temperamental to use. Ahead of our new series of webinars and online conferences we really wanted to find the best user experience we could and have scoured all the various providers to find the best solution we can for you.
We really wanted something that was robust, secure and that could easily deliver Video Conferencing, Webinars and Private Meeting Services directly to the wide variety of devices folks are now using to access the Net with the best performance possible.
Starting next week our conference system will change to FUZE Meeting.
FUZE Meeting is an award winning system that uses both the club and some smart programming to deliver a superior meeting experience. FUZE Meeting is accessible directly through your browser (though you need to have a plugin) and will hopefully make it easier for us all to connect effectively.
FuseBox was one of Apples winners of the best 'Business App for the iPad' and in our testing looks marvellous on a iPad! It works pretty slickly off the desktops and notebooks too thankfully!
We'll be using the FUZE system in three ways initially…
- Private On-line Video Conferencing with partners and members to enable discussion on policy, news and other topics relevant to the sector
- Webinars and briefings extending the current service considerably and allowing us to broadcast for all our partners and members easily and effectively.
- Public sessions open to all covering news and information relevant to the Business Continuity, Security and Risk sectors.
We also have plans we'll be announcing in the next month or so on extensions to the service following the feedback from you on how the system is delivering.
For the Techheads out there you can seen from the diagram below that the system is optimised to overcome many of the common problems seen with Web conferencing systems.

Our transition to FUZE Meeting has been pretty straightforward and we are looking forward to rolling out the new webinar series over the next few weeks.
You can verify the compatibility of your system with the Fuze system by clicking here and letting the checker run a few checks.
