A superb opportunity for a Service Level & Continuity Manager has arisen within the Operations Service Management team of a leading payments system company. The Service Level & Continuity Manager role is based in the Basingstoke offices and requires occasional trips to London Paddington and Reading.
 


The main purpose of the role is continuous improvement of existing and future IT production services. As a Service Level & Continuity Manager you would responsible for formalisation and ongoing review of Service and Operational Level Agreements (SLA/OLAs) and producing and testing of Service Continuity Plans. Moreover you, the Service Level & Continuity Manager will support the Business continuity Team and act as a point of contact for the European Operations department and will be responsible for the Operations Service Catalogue.
 


As a Service Level & Continuity Manager you will be expected to communicate at all levels with a wide range of stakeholders as a single point of contact, including line management, business representatives, technical teams and other Service Management functions and suppliers.
 


An ideal candidate for the Service Level & Continuity Manager would possess:
 


- A good knowledge of Service Management and the role it plays within an IT Division 

- Experience of IT in a service support, delivery or operational role 

- A Service Level Management and/or Service Continuity Management ITIL qualification, ideally at practitioner level

- Technical experience in a multi-site, multi-platform environment

- An understanding of Service Catalogues

- An understanding of Business Continuity
 


As a candidates for the Service Level & Continuity Manager you will need to demonstrate:


 
-Experience in running small projects 

-Effective interpersonal and strong communication skills, both written and verbal 

-Strong planning and organisational skills 

-Strong documentation skills with excellent attention to detail

-The ability to think strategically as well as tactically

-The ability to set and work to deadlines 

-The ability to rapidly assimilate information about the organisation, systems and services 

-Self motivation and initiative
