‘Day One Survival’

This one day course is held at your premises for up to 12 delegates. The basic format of the day, which can be tailored if required, is as follows:

Afternoon Session
Table Top BCP Exercise with a very practical focus
• Your chosen scenario – relevant to your specific business
• Provides fundamental training of your BCP
• Run at a comfortable pace – enjoyable and rewarding
• Not designed to be a ‘catch out’ or ‘flaw seeking’ exercise – valuable learning experience
• Interactive exercise – engaging and tangible for your delegates
Post Course Review
• ‘Hot de-brief’ on day of course following the exercise
• ‘Briefing Report’ provided shortly after the course date.
The course is run by Richard Bloomfield - BELFOR’s Business Continuity Consultant. Richard has worked with BELFOR for over 10 years providing Business Continuity Consultancy to numerous companies and organisations from all industry sectors in the UK, Europe and Middle East.
Before working with BELFOR, Richard served 30 years with Essex Police Service working specifically in the areas of Contingency, Operational & Emergency Planning and Crisis Management. Richard also worked on a major Home Office Project reviewing the UK National Strategies for Dealing with Disaster and is a Member of the Chartered Management Institute and The Emergency Planning Society.
