Tall Stories from Peter Power
In a lighter vein we are bringing you a few stories that look at Business Continuity in a a more colourful way.
For quite a few years now we have enjoyed the writing of Peter Power in various journals and we are pleased that Peter will be writing for the Continuity Forum, sharing both his insight and humour covering issues affecting Business Continuity sector.
The first of his 'Tall Stories' articles covers a lot of ground. We'll leave the story to him but it includes political prophecies, Power, Peat Bog snorkelling, a Milan Missile, and the M25 ... What a way to start off!
In the Second installment Peter delivers a Christmas treat that combines Kylie Minogue and Morris Dancing with George Bush and Turkeys!
In this latest article Peter turns his attention to the way we percieve the world around us and how that impacts on us all. As will be seen perception is everything and luck can cut two ways!

He is well known as an authoritative and entertaining presenter, especially on the subject of Crisis Management where he has gained a lot of personal experience, often at the front end of events. Peter wrote the current issued guidebooks on BC and/or Crisis Management, for the DTI, British Institute of Facilities Management and the British Bankers Association. He occasionally speaks on TV and radio and is a founder member of the UK judging panel for BC Awards, a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute, Member of the Institute of Risk Management and a member of the Guild of Freemen of the City of London
